I met him after having already done some hours of driving and he helped me to get much more confident on the road. Being both calm/ quiet persons we got along well and when I did get stressed or nervous, he would handle the situation very professionally, and would reassure me. On the days (and hours) leading up to my drive test he kept encouraging/ supporting me which helped reduce a lot of pressure, and I ended up passing thanks to him!!

He took me out on a huge variety of roads. We practiced everything from quiet neighborhood streets and scenic rural areas to busy highways and the high-traffic CBD roads. This variety gave me good confidence handling different environments and heavy traffic.

I also appreciate that he gave me lots of tricks & tips and also teaches you the practical, everyday basics that often get overlooked. He showed me how to fill up the car with petrol and how to pump the tires etc —things that sound simple but are incredibly helpful to learn if you have never done them before.

If you want a calm, thorough, and highly supportive instructor who makes learning to drive stress-free, definitely go with Paul!

Paul is a confident, clearly experienced instructor who has such a calming demeanour. In my first lesson with a professional instructor, he assessed my level of experience quickly and accurately and tailored a drive to effectively reinforce my fundamentals, and give me confidence to take the next steps with my Learners' driving. He went above and beyond and helped me reach a goal i never thought I'd be able to do! You don't just learn the basics with paul he teaches you lessons that go above the bare minimum to make sure you're going to be a safe driver when you start solo driving!
